On Monday 8th of March 2010, CMN was honored and pleased to receive in its Cherbourg shipyard the new Commander of the UAE Naval Forces, Staff. Brigadier Ibrahim Salem Al Baloushi, accompanied by Brigadier Mohammed Al Gelany, UAE Defence Attaché in Paris, Staff.Col.Eng. Khaled Al Meraikhi, HPMO, Staff.Major Mussabeh Al Muhairi, CO Baynunah, Staff.Major.Eng. Khamis Al Saedi, PMO, and other UAE Navy representatives who visited the shipyard and the Baynunah First of Class.
 
Brigadier Mohamed Al Junaibi, General Manager of ADSB (CMN partner in the Baynunah construction programme), was also present.
